Parables of the small
God is not shy to strike a parable of a gnat, “or what is above it” (Qur'an 2:26).
Lamps
“God is the light of the heavens and the earth” (Qur'an 24:35). “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet” (Psalm 119:105).
Trees of scripture
“A good word is like a good tree” (Qur'an 14:24). “He shall be like a tree planted by streams of water” (Psalm 1:3).
