The Ladder
of Scale
From an atom to the observable universe. Wonder, not proof: where an honest verse fits, we show it.
“We built the heaven with might, and We are expanding it” (Qur'an 51:47, our rendering). “When I behold Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast established; what is man, that Thou art mindful of him?” (Psalm 8:4–5, JPS 1917).
Then the Break: take away size, distance and the time light needs. What is left is not a bigger universe. See al-Wāsiʿ and al-ʿAẓīm.
