Voyager 1 crosses one light-day on 18 Nov 2026 (NASA): a message takes a day to arrive and an answer another day; NASA's Deep Space Network keeps three sites so a reply can always be heard

But: Distance means delay; delay grows every day

Not a faster reply, but an answer with no distance to cross.
